Kathmandu to Trishuli River
Leave early this morning by car for the raft put in point at Baireni on the Trishuli River. A briefing about rafting will be given by your guide and the remainder of the day will be spent leisurely rafting on the river encountering several small rapids. Each day you will spend between 4-6 hours on the water. Overnight camp on river bank.
Continue rafting down river passing villages, cultivated areas and thick strands of forest. Just above the confluence of the Buri Gandaki you will run a difficult rapid ‘Tin Devi’ noted for its three large drops. Overnight camp on river bank.
Trishuli Rafting return to Kathmandu
This morning you will enter a steep sided canyon and run a number of exciting rapids before reaching Mugling at the confluence of the Trishuli and Marshyangdi rivers. After lunch return by car to Kathmandu or continue onto Pokhara or to the Royal Chitwan National Park. Starting/ending points can differ depending on the season and water level.
