4 Days/3 Nights in Kathmandu

Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu

Fly to Kathmandu where you will be met on arrival and transferred by car to the Hotel of your choice for three nights. Kathmandu Valley is a living land of legend and mystery comprising of three medieval cities; Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan.

Balance day free.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Kathmandu

This morning visit Durbar square in the old city of Kathmandu which is noted for its temples, shrines and palaces. Nearby on a hill overlooking the city if the 2500 years old Swoyambhunath Stupa where the all seeing eyes of Buddha stare down on the valley.

In the afternoon visit the interesting Boddhanath Stupa which is surrounded by Tibetan shops and the nearby Pashupatinath a place of Hindu pilgrimage on the bank of the Bagmati River.

Day 3 : Kathmandu

Today visit morning Bhaktapur and afternoon Patan. Bhaktapur is noted for its beautiful wooden carved buildings and the Nyatapola Temple, the tallest pagoda in the valley. Ancient Patan is the artistic center of the valley and its fine architecture.

Evening transfer to local restaurant for Nepalese dinner and culture show of traditional Nepalese dances.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Kathmandu to other destination

Return by air to your other destination. During your stay in Kathmandu we can arrange for you to take the Everest Mountain Flight a once in a lifetime experience – this 50 minute early morning flight offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest. Hot Air Ballooning was introduced to Nepal in 1996 – this early morning one hour flight reaches heights of about 1500 m. above ground level (3000 m above sea level) with superb 360D. views across the Himalayas and Kathmandu.
