HELICOPTER TOURS

Helicopter tours have gained tremendous enthusiasm in a few short years after their introduction in Nepal. There are scheduled flights that take you on sightseeing trips close to the Himalaya. There are also customized charter flights that bring adventure to a new level of excitement. Helicopters allow you to go where and when you want. A typical helicopter tour takes you to a scenic vantage point in the mountains where you are given time to look around and explore and brings you back after lunch.

THE ULTIMATE EVEREST TOUR

Duration: 4 hours

The most spectacular of all flights that takes you very close to the world’s highest mountain. The flight first lands at Lukla (2827 m) and then at the Thyangboche Monastery (3867 m) for an hour to enjoy the views from the ground and also takes you very close to Mount Everest

LANGTANG VALLEY TOUR

Duration: 2 hours

A two hour package taking you over Kathmandu valley all the way to the valley of Langtang from where the great peaks become visible – Ganesh (7407m.), Langtang Lirung (7246 m.), Dorje Lapka (6975m.) and many others. You will have an hour at Kyanjin Gompa at 3950 m. to enjoy the views. Langtang is a popular trekking destination on a round trip trek of about 10 days duration.

MUKTINATH TOUR

Duration: 4 hours with an hour stop over.

This tour departure starts from Pokhara. Muktinath is a pilgrimage site of Nepali Hindus. It is normally a popular round trip trek of 14 days or more from Pokhara. This area is similar at places to the Tibetan plateau and the mountain views are absolutely superb. The trip allows you to visit Muktinath (3749 m) for an hour before flying back to Pokhara.

Charter flights to other destinations are also possible on request.

MOUNTAIN FLIGHTS

Mountain flights offer a near range and eye level panorama of the Himalayas from the
comfort of an aircraft. The plane cruises alongside the mountains with the snow peaks filling up the windows for an hour of pure exhilaration. The spectacular flight originates and ends in Kathmandu.

HOT AIR BALLOONING

The hot air balloon tour is a new attraction in Nepal. It offers an hour of thrill floating high over Kathmandu with a bird’s-eye view of the whole valley as well as a panorama of the majestic Himalayas.

MOTOR GLIDING

A soaring experience through the most beautiful scenery on earth. The BIMAN-1 is a two-seater (passenger and pilot) ultra-light craft capable of a speed of 50 to 130 km per hour. This is a combination of an adventure trip and a journey through nature giving you bird’s-eye views of the clear blue lakes, deep gorges, forests and snow peaks of Pokhara.
